Attempts are being made to field a media women’s softball cricket team in the upcoming Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company Limited in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, 10/10 softball tournament which bowls off next month.
According to a press release, some female members of the media are in the process of forming a female team to compete in competitions starting with the GT&T 10/10 competition.
Female members of the media are invited to be a part of the team and John Ramsingh, current member of the male media team has been identified as manager/coach.
Ramsingh yesterday told Stabroek Sport that once there are enough players training sessions will commence.
