Reigning Caribbean and South American Masters Champion, Norman Madhoo suffered mixed fortunes, in the latest Darts Tournament which was contested last Sunday at the Malteenoes Sports Club, Thomas Lands.
In the Open Singles finals Madhoo easily disposed of Sudesh Fitzgerald by a 3-1 margin while in the Open Doubles finals the father/son combination of Norman and his under-10 sibling lost to Fitzgerald and Wilfred Jagnarine, who had disposed of Nicholas Seetaram and Anthony Bisoondyal. In the other semifinal the Madhoo’s took care of Vishnu Bhupan and Javeed Nandalall. Fitzgerald won the individual prize with the highest checkout of 45 points.
