Police in Wismar are investigating two armed robberies committed last evening by a lone gunman.
One incident occurred at approximately 8 pm outside of the Wismar Hills Squatting Area. Clifton Alli was standing outside a yard with two friends when a gunman approached and attacked all three persons. The gunman escaped with Alli’s laptop and Ipod.
After unsuccessfully trying to contact the Wismar Police Station by telephone, the men went to the station to make a report. There, they saw a man with blood dripping from his head. The man then recounted that he had been attacked by a lone gunman at One Mile.
The police are trying to determine whether the two incidents are connected.
