The organizers of the Namilco Football Festival, the Fruta Conquerors football club has finally gotten favourable weather and will be wrapping up the competition with the final on Friday at the Tucville Playfield.
According to a release from the organizers “unfavorable weather conditions caused the tournament’s incompletion late last year.”
As such, they decided to conclude the tournament in January of the new year given that the weather held up.
Spectators will be treated to what is expected to be a thrilling conclusion as Alpha ‘The Hammer’ United faces off with Santos FC for the $500,000 top prize while host team, Fruta Conquerors, will clash with Victoria Kings in the third place showdown.
