Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday placed Claymont Tyndall on $20,000 bail, after he denied a charge of threatening behaviour.
At the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, Tyndall denied the allegation that on January 24, at North Sophia, he made use of threatening behaviour towards Simone Pellew.
Police Corporal Venetta Pindar, prosecuting, told the court that there was no objection to bail, while noting that the facts were as charged and there were no further details for the case.
Magistrate Sewnarine-Beharry placed Tyndall and Pellew on a bond to keep the peace, pending the determination of the matter. After Tyndall was placed on bail, the matter was transferred to Court Three for March 3.
