The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has upgraded its website www.gra.gov.gy as part of its efforts to provide better services to the nation.
According to a Government Information Agency (GINA) press release, in his address to mark the GRA’s 11th anniversary on Thursday, Commissioner-General Khurshid Sattaur noted that the agency has made good on its commitment last year to provide better services to tax payers via technology. He said the website encourages electronic filing of returns while ensuring tax payers are better informed about the agency’s policies.
Application Developer, Information Technology Department, Bibi Khan said the Department noted the need to upgrade the website and had started its redesigning with assistance from the Communication and Tax Advisory Department. Khan hopes that the upgraded site will receive positive feedback from the public based on the available services provided while giving tax payers the opportunity to access much needed information.
