A 58-year-old pedal cyclist lost his life after he was struck down by a motorcar PHH 3570 along the public road at Number 66 Village, Corentyne around 11 am on Sunday.
Chandradat Motee, a labourer of the same village, sustained injuries to his head and other parts of his body. He was rushed to the Skeldon Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A post-mortem examination proved that he died as a result of the head injuries, his daughter, Malo Singh said. She told Stabroek News
