The Management of the Georgetown Public Hospital announces new visiting hours for its paediatric ward.
In a press release the hospital said the ward will be open to visitors from 6 am to 6.30 am and from 2 pm to 6 pm. This is inclusive of weekends and holidays.
Only two visitors are allowed at a patient’s beside at any one time. Also, only one visitor will be allowed at the bedside of patients in isolated areas and he/she will be required to wear protective garments provided by the hospital.
Management is appealing to parents and other visitors to adhere to its new visiting hours and the rules of the ward.
