According to a press release from the association, Dorado with 14 points thus far, is the only club to register double digits.
The Silver Sharks Aquatic and Dolphin Speed Swim Clubs are in second spot with six points apiece.
Orca Speed Swim Club has three points.
The meet is also said to include the participation of the newly reinstated Linden Hirama Aquatic Club.
In individual results, Dorado ruled in the only girls’ 13 – 14 events.
In the 1500m freestyle, Britany van Lange and Soroya Simmons, both from Dorado, were first and second respectively. Van Lange finished in 19:51.80s, while Simmons clocked 23:22.47s.
Dorado gained its remaining four points from the second place gained by Henk Lowe in the boys’ 15 years and over 1500m freestyle event. This race was won by Ronaldo Rodrigues in 20:15.45s. Also in the race Sheik Amir installed Orca’s three points when he placed third in 22:30.76s.
In the only other race of the afternoon, Dolphin’s Henry Travis won the boys 13 – 14 1500m freestyle in 24:46.59s.
