Six persons have been hospitalized on the Essequibo Coast after a truck laden with fuel and goods overturned on the Buckhall/Port Kaituma trail in the North West area on Monday.
Reports are that around 8 am, the ‘bush truck’ was heading to the mining community of Port Kaituma in Region One when its driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck subsequently overturned along the trail.
The injured persons were transported to the Suddie Hospital on the Essequibo Coast, where they are being treated for their injuries.
