The burial of former First Lady Mrs Joyce Hoyte will take place today.
Mrs Hoyte passed away at St Joseph Mercy Hospital on Monday after a short illness.
There will be a private viewing this morning by members of the family, before her body is taken to the St. Andrews Kirk Presbyterian Church, where it will be received by Rev. Maureen Massiah, a press release from Family, Friends and Associates of the Hoyte Family said.
The viewing and tributes will be between 2:00 and 3:00pm.
It is expected that a government representative will deliver a tribute to Mrs Hoyte as will Dr Faith Harding, who is scheduled to speak on behalf of the PNCR and Vibert Parvattan.
The funeral service will commence at 3:00pm and Carl Greenidge will deliver the eulogy, the release said.
Mrs Hoyte’s body will be taken to Le Repentir Cemetery, where it will be buried in proximity to her two daughters, Maxine and Amanda.
Mrs Hoyte was the widow of late former President Hugh Desmond Hoyte.
