The Godwin Mc Pherson Foundation and Banks DIH, New Amsterdam branch, have collaborated to host the Mashramani Basketball tournament that bounces off today at the Litchfield Basketball Court from 13:00 hours.
According to organiser of the two-day tournament Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell it will be for teams in Regions Five and Six and each team will be required to pay $6,000 as a registration fee.
The winning team will pocket $70,000 and a trophy while the second and third place finishers will receive $50,000 and $30,000 respectively. Barnwell said that
