A showdown between Steven Xavier and Nyron Joseph which resulted in a 2-1 win for the former was the highlight of the Bounty Handicap squash tournament which continued Thursday night at the Georgetown Club courts.
The encounter saw the two players diving and gliding all over the court in the match as they displayed their athletic abilities to the max.
Xavier and Joseph began the game with a number of rallies as each player tried to outplay the other.
Both players showed their incredible retrieving skills and powerful shots which sent each other from corner to corner.
While Joseph was dominant and took the first game 15-11, Xavier was not prepared to throw in the towel and blazed through the second game, giving up only three points to win the game 15-3 and level the match at one game apiece.
The last game was a battle of the swiftest and as the scores became leveled at 13 with both players were hunting for the win.
However, Xavier had the edge over his opponent and took the last game 15-13 to win the match.
The Frasers dominated Category A as Lydia, Gabrielle and Patrick were all victorious in their matches finding themselves spots in the semi finals along with Benjamin Mekdeci.
