Guyanese import David Dick was in fine all-round form as Sweet Revenge gained a victory over Invincible in the North Zonal Cricket Council limited overs series in Trinidad recently.
Dick, who was named North Zone Cricketer-of-the Year last year, topscored with 31, as Sweet Revenge made 176/7 for seven off their 30 overs.
Chasing victory needing to score 5.81 runs per over, Invincible was bowled out for 92 off 18 overs.
Dick returned with the ball to claim 2/21 to lead his team to victory.
Down South, the duo of Ron Ramnauth and Paul Bevaun continue to dominate. Their latest act was to take care of X-Men in the South Zonal Council limited overs cricket series.
Playing for Debe Youth Foundation, the duo teamed up to post a 100-run stand as their team made 156 for six off 30 overs. Ramnauth, who was been in great form thus far, scored 53, while Bevaun scored 41 not out. In reply, X-Men were restricted to 58 for seven – losing the match handsomely by 98 runs.
