Guyana Tractor and Equipment (GUYTRAC) yesterday signed an agreement with Argo Tractors of Italy for the exclusive distributorship rights for all Landini tractors in Guyana.
The Landini tractor is said to be known worldwide for its durability. These tractors are 100% Italian-made. They utilise the highest level of technology and are uniquely fitted with the English Perkins engine.
The agreement was made official in a simple ceremony held at GUYTRAC’s Head Office in Alexander Village, Georgetown, where Hareshnarine Sugrim, CEO of GUYTRAC and Roberto Bortalazzi, Export Area Manager of Argo Tractors, signed the document.
Sugrim indicated that GUYTRAC’s first order of tractors (160hp and 105hp) have already arrived in Guyana and should be available as early as March 1.
He noted that GUYTRAC was proud to be able to contribute to the agricultural development of Guyana in such a significant way.
