Famous movie studio builds in Dominican Republic

(BBC) England’s Pinewood Shepperton movie studio – best known for its association with the James Bond films – has announced plans to open a 35-acre site in the Dominican Republic.

Construction on the studio – which is aimed at the Latino market – will begin immediately.

Set to open early next year, it will include a sound stage, production facilities and a water tank.
