Police say they are probing the death of a man identified as Eborn Inniss, 26 years of Sophia, which occurred at about 5.30 am today at the Stabroek Market area.
Police say that investigations revealed that Inniss and an accomplice confronted a man who was at the Stabroek Market area and during efforts to rob him was stabbed to his chest.
He was taken to the GPHC where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
