Former first –class cricket umpire Rudolph William Haynes will be buried today.
The 82-year-old Haynes died last week in the United States of America and his body was brought back home last week, according to information reaching Stabroek Sports.
In 2004 Haynes was rewarded for his long and dedicated service as a cricket umpire by the Guyana Cricket Board.
Haynes’ body will be at the Lyken Funeral Parlour from 12-2pm while funeral services will be held at 3pm at the East Ruimveldt Life Improvement Centre.
