(BBC) As the West Indies prepare for their next match against Ireland next week, three players with ancestral links to India have been visiting a school in the city of Chandigarh.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan and newcomer Devendra Bishoo paid homage to their heritage as they interacted with students who welcomed them in a traditional manner with a “garlanding” ceremony.
As well as signing autographs and posing for photographs, the players answered questions and were treated to a cultural performance.
