A 49-year-old man accused of shooting at two women after being referred to by the call name ‘Deportee’, was yesterday remanded to prison after appearing before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
The allegation against Trevor Fernandes is that on March 6 at Georgetown, he discharged a loaded firearm at Onecia Henry and Clair Da Silva with intent to maim, disfigure or cause grievous bodily harm to the said women.
