Can anyone assist with my query regarding the British Guiana Militia (BGM) at the start of World War II? I have read the interesting article by Arlene Munro in ‘History this week,’ but it doesn’t cover WW2.
What was its strength? What type of uniforms and equipment were worn, and finally, are there any photos of the BGM? I cannot find any information or photos. Please email me at – paosbourne@hotmail.com
