The Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) is inviting the public to its ‘Walk for Water Walk-a-Thon’ tomorrow in honour of World Water Day. In a press release GWI said the walk starts at 6am from the Umana Yana and the route includes traversing along High Street, Kingston into Main Street, turning into Church Street where it will end at the company’s complex at the junction of Vlissengen Road and Church Street.
The housing and health ministers are expected to attend the event.
