A 34-year-old bank clerk is recovering from a successful kidney transplant operation at the Balwant Singh Hospital on Friday.
Gopinauth Rampersaud received a kidney from his younger brother Kapildeo. The transplant was done by Dr Rahul Jindal of the Walter Reed Memorial Hospital in the US who has been leading operations of this kind here since 2008.
