Ministers responsible for Energy in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) are scheduled to meet in Georgetown on Thursday amidst the current volatility in oil prices on the world market.
The CARICOM Secre-tariat at Turkeyen in a press release said that the 35th Special Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) will be preceded by a meeting of energy officials on Tuesday.
The COTED “will scrutinise an overview of the energy situation and trends in CARICOM as well as national and regional responses to global developments”
