Youths cleaning a weed infested trench alongside Eccles Industrial site road this morning stumbled upon the decomposing body of a Bagostown resident.
Dead is Ubert Howard called ‘Uncle Mice’ who was last seen on Friday when he told relatives he was heading to Providence to look after his pension book.
The elderly man averaged to be in his sixties was described as ‘own way’ and resided under a shed at Fisheries Street. From time to time he would seek lodging at relatives’ homes located in the same area.
Police are investigating.
