The Linden Utility Services Cooperative Society Limited (LUSCSL) has erected a bus shed for the mining town, near the New Silvercity Secondary School. The shed, built at a cost of $440,000, was handed over to the Linden Town Council at a simple ceremony recently. It was constructed as part of the LUSCSL’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2010.
According to the LUSCSL Board Chairman Valarie Adams-Sharpe, the shed was a way of giving back to the community. Adams-Sharpe said that the intervention was a timely, given the current rains. She exhorted students and teachers
