Director of the Government Information Agency (GINA) Neaz Subhan collapsed while at work this morning.
As at midday he was still receiving treatment in the emergency room of the Georgetown Hospital. Relatives and friends were present but this newspaper was unable to gather much information.
A hospital source said that Subhan was rushed to the institution after he “took in” adding that the circumstances surrounding the collapse are unclear.
This newspaper was told that the director was receiving oxygen.
