Robb Street handyman Warren James was remanded to prison yesterday on the charge that police found him with two grammes of cocaine while searching his premises.
James, of 80 Robb Street, Bourda, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He denied the charge when it was read to him by acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The handyman, Prosecutor Stephen Telford told the court, was found with the drug when the police conducted a search at his Bourda location on March 31. James, upon seeing them, reportedly ran and dropped a container,
