The police say they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 0230h today at Wallaba Road, Meadow Brook Gardens, committed on musician Rudy Bishop, 65 years, of $30,000, a quantity of jewellery and some personal documents by two men armed with handguns.
Investigations revealed that Bishop had just arrived at a residence in the street, when he was confronted by the perpetrators who held him at gunpoint and took away the cash, jewellery and documents after which they escaped in a waiting motor car.
