Dear Editor,
President Jagdeo who holds such high office should be ashamed of himself for making the speech he did at Babu John. When he said that we must let our children know about what took place in the seventies and the eighties, why did he not go back to the fifties and sixties?
It is clear to all, the message he was sending out and to whom he was referring to. This is the party and the people who are speaking of rice farmers in this country.
I am 79 years old and I have never read or heard about any village where the police were checking people’s pots to see what they were cooking. I would be very glad if Mr Jagdeo could publish the names, addresses and villages where this took place.
Why is Mr Jagdeo so afraid of Mr Granger?
Yours faithfully,
Milton Dickson
