The police say they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred yesterday at 6.30 pm during which a gunman and an accomplice robbed the `A&R’ Supermarket at Triumph on the East Coast.
Police say investigations revealed that businesswoman Sally Jettoo and two members of staff were in the Supermarket when the two perpetrators entered and held them at gunpoint.
Police say the bandits took away a total of $200,000, a cell phone, a quantity of jewellery, and a quantity of cell phone cards and escaped on bicycles.
