ON, Jamaica, CMC – Jimmy Adams has quit as technical director of the Jamaica Cricket Association.
The former Jamaica and West Indies captain gave no reason for his decision not to renew his contract which expired at the end of March 2011.
“It has been my pleasure to work with the JCA for the past 2 ½ years, and contribute to the growth and development of Jamaica cricket,” said Adams in a media release.
“I leave my post with wonderful memories, confident that cricket in Jamaica will continue to thrive and make its indelible mark on both the regional and international stage.”
Adams, who has worked with the JCA since December 2008, had indicated his intentions not to renew his contract to the organization in January this year.
