A La Grange woman is dead after a Route 42 minibus collided with the motorcycle she was driving.
Confirmed dead is Shondel Samaroo. Reports reaching Stabroek News are that around 4 am today the woman was in the vicinity of the National Cultural Centre when she was hit.
Samaroo was taken to the Georgetown Hospital.
Traffic ranks at the break of dawn were at the scene taking measurements and conducting other aspects of the investigation.
The spot where the accident occurred is still littered with shattered glass.
