Four men are wanted by police for questioning in relation to break and enter and larceny.
Roger Bumbury called ‘Don Dick’, Kacy Da Silva called ‘Presser’, Linton Steve Eastman and Lennox Wayne called ‘Two Colours’ are the four wanted men. In a wanted bulletin issued yesterday, police asked that anyone with information which may lead to the arrest of one or more of the men contact them
All information, police stated, will be “treated with strict confidence”.
Bumbury, 39, is of African descent, 5 feet 4 inches in height and his last known address was Lot 18 ‘E’ North Sophia, Greater Georgetown. Last March, Bumbury appeared before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to break and enter and larceny. He had broken into the Prashad Nagar storeroom of businessman Deoram Singh and stolen 17 items, valued at just over $5.3 million.
The other three wanted men, police said, are also of African descent. Da Silva, 28, is 5 feet 4 inches and last lived at Lot 105 Caesar Street, Agricola, East Bank Demerara.
Eastman, 18, is 5 feet 7 inches and his last known address is Lot 3530 Stevedore Housing Scheme, Georgetown.
The fourth man, Wayne, is 26, 6 feet 2 inches and his last known address is Lot 22 Sendall Place, Stabroek, Georgetown. Wayne, a musician, was charged with robbery under arms last January.
On January 21 last year he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. Wayne had pleaded not guilty to the charge and was refused bail and it was pointed out that he had given police and the court conflicting addresses.
It had been alleged that while being armed with a gun, he robbed Bibi Hassan of two passports, a Motorola cellular phone, a national identification card and a handbag, a total value of $75,000.
