Eon Andrews was retained as President when the United Minibus Union staged its first Triennial Delegates Conference last Sunday, at Transport House.
All zones attended the conference, where the executive was elected to serve until 2014. In addition to Andrews’ re-election as President, Krishendat Sahadeo, of zone 42, was elected Vice President; Seon Small, of zone 45, was elected General Secretary; Michael Kerpaul, of zone 45, was elected Assistant Secretary; Guynard Daniels, of zone 45, was elected Recording Secretary; Tracy James, of one 44, was elected Treasurer; and William Carrell, of zone 32, was elected Assistant Treasurer.
Guest speakers at the conference were trade unionist Gillian Burton and City Mayor Hamilton Green.
