The Challenge Day to be hosted by the National Sports Commission (NSC) at the National Stadium will be on May 25 and not Easter Monday as was reported yesterday.
The day will begin from 09:30hrs and will be aiming to introduce a new attitude towards active living by stimulating citizens to break their daily routine and practice any kind of physical activity for at least 15 minutes, according to a press release.
The Sao Paulo – Social Service of Commerce (SESC) in Brazil in partnership with the Trim and Fitness International Sport for All Association (TAFISA), based in Germany, created the World Challenge Day to promote the benefit of health, the release noted.
Meanwhile Guyana is committed to participate in the international event and will seek to achieve the objectives of World Challenge Day, the release added.
