The Guyana Police Force (GPF) will host a mini athletics meet on Easter Sunday commencing from 09:00hrs at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary.
According to a press release, athletic teams from different divisions and branches of the GPF will compete in a number of events for prizes and cash incentives while invitational races featuring several top local athletes are also carded for the day’s programme.
in keeping with the Easter holiday spirit and the community outreach, members of the public will be entertained with several novelty events such as late for work, lime and spoon, three-legged and needle and thread races. Admission is free.
