Queen’s College defeated Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) by four wickets recently in a match of the Georgetown Cricket Association under-15 Cricket Tournament.
The GYO was without three of their key players from the side and lost as a result.
GYO won the toss and elected to bat first reaching 193 all out off 43 overs with R. Shun top scoring with 41 while L. Reid provided support with a knock of 34.
Queen’s College bowling was steady as K. Singh picked up 2 for 42 off nine overs while J. Mana took 2 for 10 off five overs.
In reply, Queen’s College successfully chased the target in 35 overs reaching 193 for 3 with K. Singh stroking 59 while A. Crandon and O. Blair pitched in with 33 and 21 runs respectively. R. Shun took 2 for 43 bowling for GYO.
