Another intriguing day of golf is anticipated this weekend when local telecommunications giant GT&T sponsors Saturday’s Medal Play Golf tournament at the Lusignan Golf Club, East Coast Demerara.
A large turnout is expected at the course which is in excellent condition.
Club Captain, Brian Glasford, disclosed that over 40 players are expected to battle for top honours
There are attractive prizes up for grabs while GT&T will also be offering other tokens to the players.
Among the golfers listed to take part are Francis Montour, Alfred Russell, Rawle Moore, Andre Cummings, Jerome Khan, Ronald Bulkan, Fazil Haniff, George Bulkan, Bhowlaram Deo, Carlos Adams, Dr. Ram Singh, Patrick Prashad, Esau Shamshudin, Christine Sukhram, Joaan Deo, William Walker, Maurice Solomon, Mike Gayadin, Munaff Arjune, Muntaz Haniff, Chatterpaul Deo, Brian Glasford, Troy Codagan, Robert Hanoman, Avinda Kishore, Mike Mangal, Colin Ming, Brian Hackett and Mark Lashley.
Players are requested to register by 16:00 hours tomorrow with the Club.
There will be prizes for the top three finishers and nearest to the pin and best gross.
Officials of GT&T Marketing Department have been invited to present the prizes to the outstanding players at the end of the tournament.
Tee off is at 12:30 hours with the usual briefing 15 minutes earlier.
