CASTRIES, St. Lucia, CMC – A St. Lucian contingent of six boxers and three officials left the island for Ecuador on Thursday.
They will be attending the second Pan American Games qualifiers scheduled for the South American country between April 30 and May 6.
The boxers making the trip are: Lyndell Marcellin, Dalton George, Miguel Auguste, Julian Agiou, Arthur Langillier, and the Britain-based Ryan Charles.
They are being accompanied by coaches Renaldo Toledo Calvario and Conrad Fredericks, while Tennyson Glasgow will perform the duties of team manager.
The boxers will be aiming to qualify to participate in this October’s Pan Am Games scheduled to be held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
