Former West Indies under-19 skipper Leon Johnson has been named captain of the Georgetwon Cricket Association’s team to contest tomorrow’s Arrival Cup Twenty20 tournament.
According to a release from Colin Alfred, Public Relations Officer of the GCA, Johnson will lead the side with West Indies T20 player Christopher Barnwell as his deputy.
Arrival Cup T20 Cricket Championship scheduled for tomorrow at the Albion Community Centre Ground.
The 14 players named are Leon Johnson, Christopher Barnwell, Robyn Bacchus, Rawle Browne, Jamal Hinckson, Paul Wintz, Andre Stoll, Trevon Garraway, Raj Nanan, Totaram Bishun, Anthony Ifill, Jason Heyliger, Pernell London and Shemroy Barrington.
The coach will be Mark Harper and the manager Troy Halley.
Meanwhile, the above named players are requested to attend a practice session this morning at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground from 8.30am.
