Football action will resume this weekend with matches in the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Under-17 Inter-Association and Super League Top Four knockout tournaments.
At the Christianburg ground this afternoon,Upper Demerara will oppose West Demerara in a match of the GFF Inter-Association.
This is the final game of the group and will commence at 3pm.
Tomorrow from 4pm Georgetown and Bartica will meet at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground in another group match of the GFF U17 Inter Association Tournament.
Also tomorrow the second game in the GFF Super League, Top Four, knockout tournament will be contested with Linden’s Milerock opposing the Guyana Defence Force from 4pm at the GFC ground.
In the opening game of the knockout tournament, Alpha United defeated Rosignol United by 3 goals to 1 last weekend. The final and 3rd place play off is scheduled for Wednesday at the GFC ground.
