The gathering at Wednesday night’s Pushpanjali to commemorate the 173rd anniversary of the arrival of Indians in Guyana. As part of the annual event presented by the Indian Commemoration Trust plaques were presented to Badrudin Hassan and Dr Cecil Harricharan to recognize their contributions.
