The final stages of the Stag Beer and El Dorado Rum nationwide male and female softball tournament will climax this month end at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Ground, Bourda.
Rose Hall Females have already qualified for the quarter finals while the Essequibo Zone quarter finalists will be decided today.
In Berbice, Celebrity Times and Memorex have already qualified for the quarter finals.
The countrywide competition continues today with several matches at the Carifesta Sports Complex, Cyril Potter, Guyana Teachers Union (GTU) and Corriverton Sports Complex Grounds from 9.30m.
At the Carifesta Sports Complex Ground, Airport will oppose Trophy Stall B from 9:30am on Pitch One while Mahaica Princess will oppose Hot Shots at 11:30pm.
In other matches, Everest and Defenders will clash at 1:30pm while on Pitch Two, Herstelling Raiders will oppose Young Guns from 9:30am; Ariel Divas will take on Underdogs from 11:30pm; Wellwoman and Color Girls will clash from 12:30pm and 4R Lioness will challenge Sleep Inn from 1:30pm.
The matches slated for Pitch Three will see Brushie XI versus Digital Technology; Buxton Stars versus Glamorous and Savage versus Yusuf XI.
Those matches will be played at 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm respectively.
Over at the Cyril Potter Ground, Shattaville will face Max Masters at 9:30am; Lusignan Street Warriors faces Cummings Lodge Angels at 12:30pm and Shattaville meets Enterprise at 1:30pm while on Pitch Two, Rocket will oppose Trophy Stall; El Commandante comes up against Upsetters and Trappers will clash with Rockaway at 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm respectively.
At the GTU ground, Regal battles Cena XI; Annandale Marshon Females challenges Better Hope Power Bomb and Omesh XI takes on Jaguars at 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm respectively.
In Berbice at the Corriverton Sports Complex ground from 10am, Crabwood Creek Females will clash with Number 51 Leeds Females on Pitch One while on Pitch Two, Corriverton Queens will battle with Number 55 Village Females.
In the remaining matches, Manchester Females will battle the winner of the Corriverton Queens/Number 55 Village Females at 11:30am while the winner of that match will face the winner of the Crabwood Creek Females/Number 51 Leeds Females encounter at 1:00pm.
