Prince Wilkie, the 17-year-old who is accused of murdering Dwayne Durant during last year’s Diwali motorcade, yesterday made another appearance before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The teen’s matter was again adjourned to May 20.
The dead teen was stabbed to his neck.
Kijanna Wharton, a friend of the slain youth, related to Stabroek News that Durant and the accused along with a third person had an ongoing issue which escalated that day.
