The Guyana Football Federation has shortlisted some 29 footballers to prepare for the upcoming Olympic Games Under23 Qualifiers and the World Cup tournament.
The GFF also announced that a representative national football team will oppose a team from Barbados in a home-and-away, two-match series.
The first game is billed for the Guyana National Stadium, Providence on May 22 while the return match will take place in Barbados on May 29.
Former national striker Collie Hercules has been appointed head coach with Jimmy Mc Lean as his assistant and Andrew Hazel, the goalkeeping coach.
Other members of the management team are Michelle Jackman, physiotherapist, Jermaine Craig, trainer and Keith O’Jeer, equipment manager.
