Popular dominoes enthusiast Arthur Cross will tomorrow stage the clash of the `Sawakees’ a special 21-team knockout tournament for his 32nd birthday.
The event which has a first prize of $150,000 will be held at Rockies Sports Bar on Light Street.
The lucrative tournament is being promoted by Arthur Cross of the Pressure Point Dominoes Club in aid of his 32nd birth anniversary.
The runner-up team will receive $75,000 with $30,000 going to the third placed team.
In addition to the cash prizes, the first eight teams to register will each receive a free pack of Carib Dominoes.
The tournament sponsors are:Sanjay’s Jewelers, Ansa Mc Al, Mark’s Interior and Communication, Junior Baksh’ s Establishment, Spicy Creole Corner, RRT and Lennox Cush’s Star Party Rentals.
Among some of the teams expected to participate are Strikers, Mambo Bar, Next Level, Wild Bunch, Arsenal, Street Warriors, F and H Supreme, Rockies Massive and Rage.
