Commissioner of Police Henry Greene remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital this morning and is listed as being in a very serious condition.
Stabroek News was told that Greene, who has been in the hospital for over a week now after he had suffered a ruptured vein, was transferred to the ICU after suffering complications following two surgeries.
Up to this morning no one except his wife was being allowed to see him and doctors have advised that his condition is serious.
In recent times the commissioner, who has been in poor health, has been in and out of the hospital but this has been the longest he has been hospitalized.
