(Barbados Nation) Prime Minister Freundel Stuart says that Barbados is making ground in establishing an air service agreement with China that will allow this country to tap into the 50 million Chinese who travel every year.
Stressing that tourism pays the country’s bills and that foreign exchange was vital, Stuart said the Ambassador to China, Sir Lloyd Sandiford, had been instructed to give the air travel agreement priority.
The Prime Minister made that disclosure over the weekend after returning home Saturday afternoon from visiting the most populous country in the world, a trip he described as beneficial in terms of commitments given.
