A 20-year-old man was yesterday remanded to prison by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton after he was accused of break and enter and larceny at a dwelling house.
It is alleged that on June 15 at Georgetown, Anthony Matheson broke and entered the dwelling of Sonia Glasgow and stole one plasma screen TV valued at $327,277, property of the same Sonia Glasgow.
Matheson was not required to plead to the indictable charge when it was read to him at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court Five.
At the prosecutor’s request, bail was refused to the accused and the matter transferred to Court One for June 22.
